Why Cotton?
Cotton is a breathable natural fabric and machine washable. Dance shoes, especially pointe shoes, get warm when you have been wearing them and therefore if you store your dance shoes in a plastic bag they come in, they will start to smell quicker. Also, heat can soften your pointe shoes, so cotton bags will lengthen the life of your pointe shoes.Â
The Cotton bags are easy to take care of. Use mild machine wash at 30 degrees. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Use a low heat on the iron to remove unnecessary wrinkles.
